    How can I search for an existing policy?

    Click on the 'Policy search' function, users can complete a search with: Lender reference, LMI reference, first name, surname, company name, security suburb or postcode

    The version number changes when the policy is altered but there is no premium effect and no new money

     Policy status

     Explanation

     In progress

     Submission in progress and being reviewed,

     Approved

     LMI has been approved, awaiting premium payment

     Conditional approved

     LMI has been conditionally approved, requires valuation

     In force

     Policy has been accepted and paid

     Replaced with new policy / version

     Policy has been superseded with new policy or version #

     Declined

     LMI has been declined

     In arrears

     LMI policy is currently in 90 days arrears or has arrears history

     MIP started

     Mortgagee in possession process has started

     MIP finalised

     Property has been sold and settled

     Claim current

     Claim has been received by Genworth and is in assessment stage

     Claim finalised

     Claim has been settled
